As it says in the title I am after a EJ stratocaster 

preferred colour is sunburst but not essential

More often than not, I find that folks on eBay tend to list on Reverb too. And with the lesser fees, are more amenable to a deal on the latter platform. So if you spot something on eBay, it’s worth grabbing the listing title and Googling it with ‘reverb’ in the string.

One of those on eBay went for £770! Admittedly needed a bit of TLC and was collection only, but someone had an absolute bargain.

Yeah definitely looked like it needed a refret, but still good value I think. Had it not been collection only I think it could have gone for an extra 100-150. There's another one in similar condition (frets look better) that's been relisted multiple times for £1000 but hasn't had any bids.
