Les Paul pot shaft question

What's Hot
On changing knobs on my ‘97 Orville LP, I managed to completely pull out the bridge tone shaft which was a presumably non-original coil-tapped pot. The others are a bit noisy so I’ll probably replace all 4 pots. The volume ones are also short shaft - just checking there’s no advantage to replacing them with long shaft versions? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

The only reason to go with the long shaft ones is if you need them to get through a deep top on a guitar , but it sounds like the Orville is routed deeper and doesn't need them
