Need to move this beauty on im afraid.





Managed to teef this from my man @JookyChap a while back who was reluctant to let it go as its so friggin cool.

Alder body , Gretsch USA bucker, woodtone thin finish and the nicest maple neck you will find, mega figured wormoth beauty.

Sounds massive and plays lovely.

I believe DrBob from this very parish built it so hopefully he can shed more light on it

Its got that thin finish so it will show its age well in the future and has a few marks already but nothing nasty. I cant leave it on my cheapo stand as it marks the bottom of the body.

Anyway any trial welcome , I'm very close to north manchester but can post as it comes with a hard case.

This is a really nice original guitar, whoever buys will be very happy, its so resonant its silly

Vintage tuners-check! Is that a plastic nut or graphite? Whats the neck finish, looks quite glossy, any idea if it is poly or nitro? Whats the neck pocket joint like?

Morning all, I'll come back later & flesh this out some more but from memory;

I think I go the neck from @boogieman it was previously on a black Esquire build that came to him via @AlexHunter & originally @Travisthedog who tells me he bought it from AxesRUs not expecting it to be that Flamey so I'm guessing a poly finish on that.

Body was an Ebay purchase, I thought it was Warmoth but on reflection can't now be sure but it came to me already in that lovely blue colour which I was told was a Nitro finish.

Pickup is a Jap Gretsch HS that I picked up from @Guitargeek62 & the bridge came from Axecaster.

Any good ?

You didn't get it from me @DrBob, although I sold a remarkably similar one to a chap in Scotland, so it could be the same one still doing the rounds I guess? Mine came from AxesRus. Gorgeous flame on it, lots of movement. Poly finish, medium frets, plastic nut. It was listed as B stock but the only fault I could find were a couple of tiny bubbles in the lacquer. I put Wilkinson vintage style tuners on mine.
