WTB - cheap something with chunky neck (long shot, semi acoustic)

Me = bass player. Only have occasional use for an electric so budget c. £150. Like it phat for bass reasons too, but do not believe there is such a thing as a baseball bat out there, no matter what people say, but hoping to be proved wrong. And I *really* like f holes, which might ultimately trump neck. Who knows?

Any candidates out there?

i think the earlier (dot inlay) Harley Benton 335-a-like had a resonably chunky neck. Might be within budget too

There definitely are such things as baseball bats and guitars with very fat necks (how big are actual baseball bats? I don't know).
But perhaps not in this price range, they generally try to appeal to as many people as possible by having something thin to medium-ish.  Hope you find something.

The Gretsch 2620 has a nice neck with a bit of heft to it. Can be found cheap, well built, great modding platform

I've got one in sunburst. Tried to sell it on here but there was zero interest. Really nice guitars for the money.
