Part 2 would be how I use it (on the videos).  

But it does sound quite different to the noise coming out of the cab.  So it's not completely the same tone as what's coming out from the guitar cab (ie the speaker emulation isn't perfect).  But it never is.

It looks very handy, and a nice solution.  In conjunction with a POD or Zoom or AMT, it's also a backup amp...
