Steve Hackett - Extended Genesis Tour

Went to see Mr Hackett at the Brighton Centre last night.

Great show, and superb musicians. Only fly in the ointment was that the singer who was way too low in the mix and appeared to be having foldback problems to boot - so very difficult to hear what was being sung. Only second night of the tour so I guess a teething problem which will get sorted.

Otherwise a thoroughly excellent evening.

Off to Brum next week to see this, went last year as well, but sat right up in the gods so couldn't see much. Front row this time so will have a look at the gear. Does he still play the Fernandes gold top with the sustainer?

Yes he does… just watched him last night (7 years after your post) awesome gig, great band and the singer is sorted in the mix.
