Hey guys. For sale is my favourite JM I’ve ever owned. The JM that stopped me buying JMs. My favourite of the twenty (or more) Jazzmasters I went through. Thing is, I’m just not playing it anymore. It’s been for sale and I’ve pulled it for it to just sit there unplayed again. So it really is time to move it on to somebody who will love it and actually play it. 

It’s the limited release US 58 Reissue. It’s been very well used in that time. First by the guitar tutor at the Hendrix house and then by me until now. Now obviously you can see the paint is chipped quite a lot. It seems to have picked up new dings every time you pick it up. Just look at it funny and I swear it’ll have some new dings. It has a Steve label on the pickguard that will remove easily. A Dr Robotnik label on the back of the headstock that was there when I bought it and a paw print sticker also on the back of the headstock. I’ve not tried removing them and won’t. 

It’s got a bit of fret wear mainly to the cowboy chord area but nothing that’s causing any problems. 

I changed the nut which was worn when I got it. 

It’s got a Staytrem bridge and Mastery vibrato and both the originals are in the case. 

I’ll get some more detailed pics tomorrow when it’s light again but for now here’s a few taken today in a dark room… Comes with its hardcase obviously. 

I really need the money but I’m open to trades hopefully with some money my way. I like SGs. Standards.

@bobacco mate. I used to be exactly the same. The JM is too good to throwaway for some random flirtation though. I don’t want to end up disappointed in the long run.

Played this last week whilst I was pickup up an amp, blooming marvellous thing, I think you should keep it and sell something non guitar related like furniture

Definitely trying to be a bit more discerning - have had some stellar instruments but if you don’t ‘connect’ with them, it doesn’t matter. Still trying to chase my youth; reality is I just noodle on my Tele regardless haha.
