New member wants to say hello
Hey everyone,
Not exactly first post on here but defo a very fresh member as I've only joined couple weeks ago.
Initially looked only at classifieds section but the whole forum seems to be great stuff so hoping to stay for longer.
So my name is Kris Gee and I'm a 33yo guitarist from Stoke. Heavily addicted to MusicMan guitars and recently converted to Boogie amps. Happy to share knowledge and experience with other members as well as hoping to get some help when needed

Good to see a Stokey blokey on the forum, nice to have another Staffordshireordian in the ranks.
I liked the videos you pasted up, that's some very tasty playing you've got going on there.
How do you find the single coil MM guitars in terms of noise? I tried them when they first came out in the late 80s and they were wonderful to play, but were incredibly sensitive to external EM interference, much more so than other single coil guitars that I was playing at the time.

All single coil musicmans are equipped with a little device called 'silent circuit' that cancells pretty much all the noise. My Silhouette was heavily modified and I had that thing removed but it worked well when guitar was stock.
So probably worth having another go as they're truly fantastic instruments!
