I have merged the SG thread with the Les Paul.

Gibson SG Custom VOS 61

I bought it "pre-loved" (second hand?) from Coda in 2020 and they told me it was 2011, I had the pickups replaced with a ThroBak SLE101 set and they sound sublime (this is the actual set I bought:  https://reverb.com/uk/item/36252498-throbak-sle-101-pickups).

I think it's in good condition of note there are two small dinks on the body which I've photographed, minimal fret wear, and the nickel on the bridge has worn away a bit.

Very light around 6lb 3oz on my scales.

Trade I'm looking for an HSS strat-style guitar with a rosewood neck and Trem, ideally a Suhr  Classic S Antique, but would consider Fender, PRS? etc) with any cash differences adjusted accordingly.

As this is an SG I would prefer to meet (I'm in Bournemouth) although postage is an option (I have a good box  ) which could be discussed.

I only need to sell one of these so depending on which goes first I will keep the other.

2003 Brazilian Rosewood Gibson Les Paul 56 Reissue

This is very special and one of the very few from a run of 147 Les Paul reissues made with Brazilian Rosewood Fretboards in 2003.

I am only listing this on the Fretboard. I have had a few buyers and enquiries from the States and Europe but due to the value I will not willing to post overseas.

It's as you would expect a superb guitar and very special but unfortunately, I need a gigging guitar that I'm not scared will get bashed, dinged or nicked at some of the gigs I do. I got it off the forum just under a year ago and have done some gigs with it.

There are a few marks and the headstock has a couple of dings, minimum fret wear but nothing drastic considering this is a 22-year-old guitar. All hopefully can be seen in the photos.

I have changed the pickup covers, knobs and jack plate (the original was cracked) but all the originals have been kept.

Weight just over 9lb on my kitchen scales, the original listing had it as 9lb as well so I think that’s pretty close.

Trades.... I will consider other lower-priced Les Pauls with cash adjustments if someone wants to upgrade or rosewood neck HSS Strats (Suhr Classic Antique S, Olympic White or Surf Green).

Would prefer collection or meeting within reasonable distance. Will only consider posting to UK and buyer covers the cost.
