FS Epiphone Korina Flying V P90 Popa Chubby

Mint Epiphone 'Popa Chubby' Flying V, basically a Korina Flying V with P90's instead of buckers, Gold hardware, Korean made, Recently set up and plays like butter, lovely thin wide feeling neck. The P90's take it in to an altogether different class soundwise, great for blues rock etc. No case but can box for shipping, £275 collected from Rotherham or ship at cost. Will load some pics as soon as my photobook app starts working again!

Never seen a black Popa Chubby but yes its Natural Korina, pics to follow once ive sorted out my damn photobucket app......

Ah, maybe I'm misremembering it then? Pretty sure they'd offered a second colour in it too - perhaps wine red, if not black? Either way, it's a sweet model 8-)

They did a wine red on the Gibson issue, not sure about the Epi. Lush mind with the whammy bar.

I recall the Korina Flying V with Buckers was available in natural or black, pretty sure the Epi Popa Chubby was only available in natural.

Fairly sure they were natural only; fairly sure never seen Chubby actually playing one (not a particular fan of his but I have seen a few youtube clips down the years) but then if I was offered an Epiphone endorsement I'd do it.

But, yep, lovely looking guitars.If we had a cool wall in here ( although, please, let's not)  that would be in the freezer compartment.Not dissimilar to the Reverend Ron Asheton either but a fair wack cheaper.Get some photos up pronto!

It certainly does. Looking down the classifieds it's depressing to see how many latest post avatars match the o/p avatar as items are repeatedly bumped unsold.

Yep when I click on the envelope in my profile it's says "you and simple simon" messaged other people before without issue.
