Track Info: 



Record your solo over the top of it and then submit it (ideally in mp3 format) to solos@theFB.co.uk
Also, feel free to comment on how you approached the solo, which will add a bit more interest and maybe we can learn something from each other.

There should be headroom to record your solo. Try to set a level without excessive master limiting, because we want to avoid loudness wars.

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline, with each voter selecting their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.
First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point
The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends.

No prizes. It's just for fun.

As people submit their entries, I'll post them below to hopefully promote some discussion on approaches used for the solo:

    Hello all I really like this backing  

    I missed out on last month but I’ll definitely have a crack at this one! 

    …Listening though it again I could do with 10 minutes of it to enjoy murdering :)

    I've also sent one in.

    I usually use the Kemper for home recording but I thought the Simplifier mkII + Way Huge Saucy Box that were on my desk sounded good so I used them instead. The guitar was my 335 again.

    These are great guys.

    I've only got a couple of days so better get cracking! I've got a couple of ideas and I'm feeling that wah section in the half time bit is a really good fit!

    Usual guitar - PRS Tremonti SE intro NuX Mighty Air into Reaper. Bridge pickup except the half time section which is neck and also moved to a different track to pan a bit off centre for some sort of artistic reason

    You can submit any time while the voting is taking place, you just risk missing out on votes from anyone that votes early.
