I had an epiphany after I bought my DGT SE Gold Top. PRS guitars are actually rather good…which got me thinking as I wanted a gear de clutter. Off I went to Coda with 4 guitars, an amp and 6 pedals. My collection was starting to impact home life. I parted with my first Strat, a 1988 Dakota Red which I had owned since new and hadn’t really been played for the last 10 years (time for someone else to enjoy her). Anyhow after having a schwang through a Two Rock and a lot of laughs with the gents in Coda I came away with this. Could it be the ultimate do it all guitar?

I saw your comment on the buying for no good reason thread and relate to the querying why part. I’ve tried the one guitar to rule them all and failed horribly. Hope this is the one for you though!

So what did you move on (other than the strat)? It must have felt worth it but that’s a lot of gaps for one guitar to fill.
I was thinking about one too, but I don't play guitar that much any more and to be honest it's not *that* different from my Swamp Ash Special.

I think once you've tried a PRS you might not look back....
Lovely looking that
