Phone app for backing tracks?

FatPeteFatPete Frets: 683
Apologies if this has been discussed before - I'd like to use an Android phone to play audio files via an M-Audio 192 4. Anyone have any recommendations please?

Phone only has a USB C connector and the i/f does not have a separate power socket.

I've found one that looks like it should work - USB Audio Player PRO(?)

Thanks!

Doesn’t Android have a music playing app built in?
What do you want to do with the backing tracks? Apps like Moises allow you to remix individual part volumes, loop parts, change pitch, etc.

Seems like what I wanted to do was make myself look old and stupid. I knew there was a built-in player, but for some reason had it fixed in my mind that it wouldn't work with an external interface.

    Thanks for the response Mark.

    Also, see Audio Cues:

I use this on Android and Go Button or Stagetraxx on iThingy for various jobs including teaching. All would be ideal for backing tracks.
