Glue for Guitar Nut

What's Hot

I'm staring at a bottle of Evo-Stick wood glue and a bottle of Gorilla glue (I won't use the latter due to the expanding part).

The nut is graphtec on maple - What does everybody use?

I remember mixing some stuff in my garage for a bass that had a metal nut, which wouldn't work here.

couldn't agree more - And you can use the strings, tuned back to pitch to, as a clamp, but ensure it sits correctly with regards to no over hang on on side, or the other, of the fingerboard

I use the Loctite Power Gel ... it has a high acrylic content and a slight elasticity that stops a random knock loosening yer nuts

Gorilla glue clear will not expand. But I would go the same way as WezV,that will be good.

Thank you guys - I had some clear Gorilla super glue as well, so I've used that and it has done the trick. Much appreciated.

I've never had a problem with good old PVA. Only needs a smidge.
