excel users?? HELP!

So I have a simple column of figures - in this case column L -  and have a TOTAL VALUE  cell (L14) containing the formula =SUM(L3:L13) which gives the correct result, but when I click away anywhere on the sheet it keeps automatically doubling its value!

I then have to reset the value each time and is sooo annoying. Google and Youtube talk about double entries but nothing addressing this specific issue.

Thanks if you know.

Try copying and pasting just your column of figures into a new worksheet, using paste special >> values

Then use autosum at the bottom.

Then try clicking around your new, clean sheet - all OK?

I'd guess some macro code or something elsewhere on your original sheet that's messing with it.

Click that box above 1 and left of A to highlight the entire sheet and reset it all to numbers. Then put the formula in again and see if it's doing the same thing.
