Killer arguments for no longer watching a YouTuber's content (EVH content)?

When this sort of thing happens, there's usually someone on here who quotes their gran always having said:

"If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

I don't always agree, but the throwaway criticism adds nothing here.

I can't be bothered to investigate the timeline, but I'd imagine this outburst came after Tyler got bottled from that passing car. Given that I felt his comment was out of character, perhaps there are grounds for medical concern?

I've not clicked "don't recommend this channel's content" or whatever yet, and I'm not subscribed to him (notifications drive me potty so I don't ever subscribe to many channels – I am currently subscribed to TomShreds or I'd not have noticed this short at all), but I'm definitely considering it ...

Seems like Tyler aka Music Is Win left a comment 'lol so sterile' on this fellas video. I tried searching out the original comment, but was unable to verify it.

If I wanted to be favourable to Tyler, it's possible it was a comment made in jest, but poor choice of words if that's the case.

I just watched a video by that guy yesterday with Jared Dimes. He looks like a bank teller. Maybe he was drunk when he left that comment. Whatever. He almost died. (No, he didn't).

I’m surprised at Music is win  saying something like that ,I’ve watched lots of his videos in the past & he doesn’t seem to be of that nature , wonder what made him say it  he’s usually an ok chap from what I’ve seen

I’d bet on it being ironic. TomShreds occasionally posts videos of him playing, superimposed with quotes of commenters saying he’s mechanical, or shred is shit etc so I suspect that’s what he was referencing with the comment.

Has there actually been a blowup over this or is it just the OP?

maybe it's just me but i never got the Music is Win thing, he always seemed heavily sedated to me and completely lacking in anything remotely interesting to say (or play)

Tyler/Music is Win is usually pretty even-handed with his comments on other music so I think there's some kind of in-joke going on here.  And no, he didn't nearly die but that's a nasty cut and it must have been a very disturbing experience.
