    Brilliant stuff indeed ... it's opened up a train of thought for me ... famous politicians from the last c.50 years or so (that's as far back as my memory goes for politics) ... Wedgewood Benn, Beast of Bolsover, Twatcher, Tebbitt, Curry, Major, Wilson, Heath, Tarzan, Blair, Brown, Foot, Kinnock ... OMG the list is endless.

    Joe is a Gibson ES-150... still cool and fundamentally decent with a warm and mellow tone, but just really, really old - introduced before the end of WWII - performance in public is somewhat variable depending on the amount of interference on stage, and although can still be quite aggressive when pushed, actually happier with a gentle laid-back rhythm and just following the charts.
