Have never been an Andy Murray fan - For various reasons - But glad he got to say goodbye to Centre Court along side  a host of guests/rivals/greats etc - He deserved the chance to say thank you to so many adoring fans

And by the way CR7, that is what tears of emotion are for - Not feeling sorry for yourself because you've had a shit day at work

I was watching it last night in the pub, he was quite overcome, wasn't he.

Even Sue Barker had the grace to take her bloody microphone away from him.

I thought it was a fantastic tribute and interview.  I have a great deal of admiration for Andy Murray, he's such an unusual character... seems like a miserable git but he's actually very funny and isn't afraid to show emotion, express an opinion or stick to his principles.  He'll be greatly missed as far as I'm concerned.

Glad you mentioned this, because it got completely overshadowed by the election.

Murray says goodbye to Wimbledon with a whimper. Raducanu pulls out of mixed doubles. What a way to end.

At least tennis fans can watch the England game later instead.

I think, in presenting the big tribute after Andy's men's doubles with Jamie, the Wimbledon organisers may have anticipated this.

The tribute was extremely lovely and he will certainly be missed in the sport.

Pulling out of the mixed is sad but 100% the right call. It might have ben a cute sideshow but Andy is two weeks post back surgery and Emma doesn't really play doubles, so there's no point risking her singles run for it.

I support the occasion, but it was vomit inducing with the silences and near tears etc. Glad the droning tw@ has fucked off tbh. The John Major of tennis.
    Dont worry, be silly.

I'll miss his mum's shrieking face and veins stickin' out of her neck.

Did things for me *touches self*.

Best wishes to the guy, has been awesome for Scotland and the UK as a whole. Not easy in an era arguably the greatest for mens tennis.
