Well today’s the day for my long awaited shoulder surgery so not quite sure why they’ve asked me to wear these. Probably a wind up lol.

    "Not here" and "Not this one either" on your legs couldn't hurt...

    good luck with your surgery.

    i think those tights are to stop blood clots or something like that? some people wear similar when on planes.

    Good luck! I had shoulder surgery about 15 years ago and the outcome was really good, so keep positive. I'm sure you'll be in good hands.

    Seems to be SOP now in hospitals; they put some on me for my spell in intensive care a few weeks ago

    Been SOP for many years now. Known as 'TEDS' - ThromboEmbolic Deterrent Stockings. Yes, to help prevent blood clots in legs - though the end should cover the toes rather than restrict around the foot mid-section.

    Not exactly a fashion statement.
