Still the problemettes of warmth, oxygenation, getting home for Christmas, no Tesco Nutty Bars, dusting, abnormally low gravity etc. etc. etc. 

The only real advantage I can see is that your in-laws are highly unlikely to invite themselves for the weekend. 

Actually, that might make the entire concept attractive!

Usually at this point I like to refer to this paper, but the f***ers have put it behind a paywall.  But essentially it shows that the seismic velocities of lunar rocks are quite different from earth rocks, but very similar to those in a selection of cheeses.
