Green is was an American Special Strat..I have Fender American Series 2000- 2008 Pickups in there and a 10 way Switch plus locking tuners..Reduced down to 2 pots..It stopped my Tendonitis...

Olympic White Fender Performer Strat,,same pickups,same switch,,again 2 pots..Locking tuners..

Black Satch Strat..Push Pull Coil Splits..Push Pull Treble Bleed..PAF Joe and Mo Joe pickups..
Locking tuners...

Roland /Fender Strat...I wish I could find a way to put the volume control somewhere else..
I also have a spare Performer Series neck..I do use the synth,,channels for the strings disappear,,a bit frustrating,,
but playing a Cathedral Organ on guitar is great fun..It is also very light...
If I could sort the volume control thing out..
I have some Tonerider Blues pickups also..

Bit of a cheat as I didn't modify it, it's stock, but my two Strats (Silver Sky and Landau) have bridge tone wired separately which is almost always better.

    My green strat.

It started life as a 2001 MIM standard Strat which I bought new.

    Over the years it's had:
    -New Bare Knuckle Irish Tours
-New pickguard and CTS pots with the bridge pickup wired for a tone control
-Push/pull volume pot to allow for series/parallel middle/bridge pickup position switching
    -Vintage style tuners
-New Alder body in Sherwood Green metallic
-Steel baseplate added to the bridge pickup to make it sound closer to a Telecaster bridge pickup.

It's getting to be like Triggers broom, eventually I'd like to try a new neck with a rosewood fretboard and 22 frets

Agreed..Although Strat bridge pickups can be problematic in general..Partly why I like the pickup set I use..There is a screw screwed into the underneath of the bobbin, one by Fender..This seems to fatten up the bridge pickup and make it work better with higher gain..It's only on / in the bridge pickup by the way..They aren't too scooped like many Strat single coil I have tried..

This is how I deal with the bridge pickup on strats - sounds better than any tone pot I've heard!

Mexican Fender 50's Custom Shop Designed.

    Refinished by Rich.
    Bone nut.
    Aged Callaham full assembly.
    Slider's SRV 59 pickups.
    Black pickguard.
    Aluminium neck plate.

Kept the stock wiring with the 5th position activating neck and bridge, but might need to change the pots soon.

US Strat 2017.  Two Oil City humbuckers, I’ve used an older Strat bridge.  Had the varnish off the neck scraped a little bit.  It didn’t have the original pickups when I bought it, so I thought I’d do it up a little to how I’d like it.

I had that done in the early Noughties before I reduced to 2 pots..I read about it in the Guitar Magazine and the bottom tone pot could blend between the neck and the bridge..

Awful photo, apologies. Mine's a proper trigger's broom and is just a partscaster now despite being a Powerhouse Strat to begin with (nothing remains). MJT one piece ash body, Fender EJ neck, Callaham bridge with short DG arm, Duncan SSL1C-DG and Antiquity II Surfer pickups and Fatboy guard and knobs. The tones are wired to neck and bridge only. In fact I think the input jack and plate are from the original guitar. In between it's had an MIJ 57 reissue neck and a OCP Stone Tone set.

True they could evolve into a Jazzmaster then a Jaguar..Your Strat could even be taken over by CBS..

    1. Converted to headless with fixed bridge.
    2. Fitted Telecaster pickups and switching.

I’ve stopped. I keep dreaming about pickup changes. Have been for several years. Don’t think it will happen.

    This is my most radical:

A hardtail Strat body with a Telecaster bridge and neck.  Also has McNelly T-Bar and S-Bar pickups in it.  They use a P-90 construction with bar magnets and screws, to give a fatter single coil sound.  It also has one of my favourite Strat mods, 2x3-way blade switches.  With these I can get any combination of the pickups (including all 3).  I've made the change on a lot of my Strats, though not on any of my vintage ones (even though the first time I saw it was back in 1972 touring Germany and the guy who had it was playing a 1961 Strat).

OCP Stonetone pickups, and a three position switch just like the original Fender Stratocaster.
