This is a luthier built beauty from Matthew Carter in his days building guitars in Brighton. He now operates as Elysian Guitars with prices starting at nearly £4K.
This all solid guitar has some lovely spruce (assume Sitka) on top with some stunning Brazilian mahogany on back and sides. It’s lovely to play with a very comfortable neck - not too slim, not too chunky - just right. The action is good as I have just done a neck reset. Sounds amazing as well. Lovely big tones for fingerstyle
There is some playwear and a bit of lacquer checking but nothing structural and just goes to show how nice it is to play.
Lower bout 16”. Upper bout 12”. Depth 4”. Nut width 44mm. Super comfy.
Fitted with a JJB Prestige 330 (similar to K&K)
Comes with decent hard case
