FS: Squier Standard J-Bass
Time for me to let this go.
Made in Korea according to the headstock and the serial number dates it to 1989. I've had it since '98 when I inherited it from a friend and it has hardly been played since and never outside of the house. As far as I'm aware it hasn't been modified in any way and certainly not in the time I've had it.
The colour is technically white, but it has gained a creamy yellowish hue over the years. There are a couple of chips and blemishes in the paint which I've tried to show in the photos, but nothing that I would personally consider unusual for a guitar of it's age. I've no case for it, although I do have the gig bag it came in - that's not in great knick but does a job.
I'd happily record some sounds for anyone interested in it, but a couple of limiting factors would be: a) I'm no bassist, b) I don't have a bass amp to play it through (just a Marshall lead 12 guitar amp) which might not show it off to it's best.
£200 collection only (Sheffield). Meet ups considered depending on distance.
Thanks.

My question is, are the two pickups the same length or is the bridge pickup a few millimetres longer than the neck pickup?
