King of tone - colour/finish choice

Finally hit the top of the list to order a kot after a stupidly sold mine a long time ago.  

They are offering more colour options than before including standard purple or "original hand drilled purple case" -  have they changed the case?   

Green, Red, blue, white and plain unfinished case don't do anything for me but I might get the antique silver or gold if I don't get the purple one. 

Has anyone ordered one recently and seen if the case has changed?

They changed the case for the standard purple. It is now made by a 3rd party.  The other colour options are same as before.  Mike has commented on the thread here in TGP.  Basically they did this to speed up the process.

Thanks - that's really helpful.    I'll probably pay for the original enclosure or antique silver.   The new cases look too much like the clones and a bit cheap - I've waited 6 years now

I have the original purple I think that’s about the best.

I do agree the new enclosure reminds me of the clone pedals too, sucks to have to pay extra for the original case but hey ho.

I’ve been at the top of the list for a while now…..but I just can’t bring myself to order one due to the extra postage tracking option……or posted on a wing & a prayer…..

Sometimes, when you pay for the more expensive postage (which I advise), it seems easier to bypass customs fees

I really want the antique silver….but I reckon I’m still about 2-3 years from the top of the list, so just gotta hope that finish is still available at that point

Are the non-purple colours on the old case?

If the Tracker is accurate I should be near the top in February next year.

This one?  I don't think it is on the option list now. Even then I recall it was a limited time finish.

Checking my receipt, it is call Antique Silver.

Perhaps he has brought it back and made it standard.  It was limited at the time I ordered.
