    I had one back in 1985 ... it's about as simple a circuit as you can make. Basically the original 741 op amp clipping 2 diodes.

    I used it to overdrive a Hi Watt Custom 100 amp

    Yes, simple circuits like so many pedals. They sourced some older chips for these after taking Randy's chip pan pedal board apart for the first time to try make a pedal mimicking his one. Nice to have something like this if you're a fan. God knows how many times I've listened to the Tribute album
