FS/FT Suhr Hombre Combo -- nearly new
This is a tentative one but I've seen something I like and probably should be on one in, one out. . .
Suhr Hombre combo, barely used in truth. John Suhr's interpretation of the brownface deluxe that some believe Billy Gibbons used for the album that bears the amp's name. Perfect condition.
Have only played in my smoke-free studio at home, and have not even broken in the speaker yet by any means. Have had it maybe 18 months after buying at GG in Camden new. This is the 240V UK spec one. (At the time I almost bought the 230V from a shop in Europe but a phone call and email chain with the ever-helpful folks at Suhr support talked me out of it, and said to wait for one to be stocked with the proper transformer, which I did.)
It has a sweet harmonics laden tone that gets hair a bit more quickly like a brownface deluxe circuit should (vs a blackface). Construction is fantastic on these things, truly a labour of love at their factory far as I can tell. The tremolo is great. It gets LOUD quite easily.
For whatever reason, I play my other amps more and so reluctantly, I need to offer this.
(More and better photos to follow, these were just quick shots I took.)
I'm listing it based on its essentially nearly-new condition, for £1400 collected from London. Catch a discount on something as good as what Peach will sell you new for £1800. (I paid even more than that.) Or I am open to a range of trade ideas -- old Fenders, old Marshalls (JMPs), but try me.
Comes with Suhr cover, footswitch, etc.
