FS/FT: Pentax A3 film camera - 50mm f1.7 and 75-205mm zoom lens

Hi there,

This has been in the back of the cupboard for MANY years so I think it may be time to move it on. Fair condition but I'm not really sure what I'm looking at.

Pentax A3 camera with original brochure and manual (!)
Tefnon 75 - 205mm macro zoom lens (f3.8 - 4.8)
Battery compartment has no rust

I have put new batteries in and the battery check light comes on. However, I can't make the shutter actuate, but that could be because I have no idea how it works! Any advice on checking if it is working is welcome. 

Also, looking through the viewfinder there are one or 2 specks (chunks?) of dirt in the view. Can't see it in the lens so must be in the viewfinder. Really small so just saying for completeness.

It will come in a manky padded camera bag - so at least it will be protected in transit.

Given that the 50mm lens has some value but I can't really test the body and I'm throwing in the zoom lens then I think the price should be £35 paypal f and f with postage included.

Hi there,

I had a dabble with photography a while ago and I think it's reasonable to now let these go.

I seem to have misplaced my 'best' lens, which I will also put up for sale if I can find it, but until then, this kit includes:

Leica M8 body - boxed with instructions, original leica strap, etc.
Original battery charger plus one original and 2 aftermarket batteries (to be fair, the aftermarket ones aren't all that good)
Viewfinder magnifier (1.25)
Leica leather body protector with box
Aftermarket neoprene cover
Voigtlander Color Heliar 75mm f2.5 M mount
Infra-red filter for lens (needed for the M8)

All in very good condition as far as I can see. Works fine. Not used much, total of 10,977 actuations.

Tradewise I'm fairly open to guitars, effects, etc. and although I'm pretty picky there's no harm in giving it a go.

Pricing is a bit tricky, I think M8 bodies like this one go from upwards of £1200 on ebay. The lens adds another £150 and then there are a few accessories. So I think £1300 all in sounds sensible.
