I wonder if anyone can help with this? One of my bands wants to do a cover of this - the opening riff is no problem, but the chords in the verse have me stumped. I assume it’s in an altered tuning, but what? Open G maybe? 

I can’t clearly see the fingering for these chords in these videos, any ideas? Cheers!

Just to be clear -  it’s the chords in the verse (‘I think I saw you/in the shadows’).

It's in drop D.

The verse goes D G F. The G is played 55040x. The F is 335 or 3x5, so a Fsus2 sort of thing. I think! I've never been quite sure what exactly is going on with the D but you're in D so anything goes

Thanks! After listening a few more times this morning drop D makes sense. I reckon double drop D might work too as you could get a drone going on the riff. Will try later.
