Electric Drum Kits for Child Beginner

Looking for advice on an electric kit for a 12 year old drummer.
No space for an acoustic kit so has to be electric. Something cheap (in case it doesn't stick) but not so cheap as to put them off by being shit.
Fully aware that they're not silent - already used to drum practice pads.
Any advice or recommendations?
