looking at getting the NC…..there’s 10 for sale used on Ebay and one on here …..is there something i should know ??….
Is it a lemon or a pot of gold …..
Owners/Users please drop in  ….

10 for sale on ebay seems remarkably low.
That's like there only being 25,000 tubescreamers on there.

seemed a lot to me….its not that old is it ?…..maybe I’m wrong….

I suppose it depends on how many they've sold rather than how long it's been out.

If they've only sold 50 then that's a concern. If they've sold 2000 already then that's not worth being worried about.

tried several ‘game changing’ products to be ultimately uninspired !

It would work for me but you cannot assign an effect’s parameter to a footswitch in stomp mode. They still haven’t got to it yet.

That sort of thing is why I didn't buy a full QC - so much delay in getting even basic stuff running properly.

I'm only just getting interested again now that the process of getting the plugins into the QC unit is underway.

decided to pass on the NC…..too many issues and concerns from owners on line ……seems it was rushed out, poor specification and over priced ….

I had one and liked it, just not enough to keep it!

It sounded good into a PA and I really liked it into an amp effects return. The app works very well, especially having used Tonex previously...

My main issue was that the switching was audible, so my idea of moving through presets to bring in gain boosts, delay etc went out of the window. Also, the temptation to look for “better” amps in the app was becoming self-destructive.

I’m happy with digital in some ways, so I might revert to a Fender Tone Master.

I have one and love it.    

Depends what features you need.  In one band I need 3 sounds on stage with 2 being the same amp and a variation in fx so I just saved 3 presets and get on with playing.   Great idea for a stripped down unit imo but it depends what you need.
