Boss TAE Core - Did Boss just release the perfect amp top box?

Sorry if I confused things. You can't 'power' a modeller, you can only amplify a modeller. So that means you are going to need a power supply for anything else you use with it.

Question - you mentioned that a modeller can be powered via the FX loop of the TAE Core, does that apply to regular pedals as well (i.e.  tremolo pedal can be plugged into the loop, but you don't need to power the pedal from a seperate power supply ?)

When he says powered, he means like a power amplifier, he doesn't mean a 9v output.
