Doesn’t look like they’re streaming Tool.
How can they stream Sabbath, but not the singer?

So, I've signed up for the livestream tomorrow (and I couldn't resist the £30 T-shirt).

On checkout they charged an extra £22 for VAT, service charges and postage, the little tinkers.  I'm blaming Sharon personally.

Yes I've sprung for the live stream and tshirt option, and was a bit narked when they then did the American style adding tax on top but thought I may as well. The wife has a photography thing on tomorrow in the Cotswolds from 5 till 8 so I'm hoping to find a nice spot near the lavender fields where it's taking place to watch some of it on the ipad.

Nothing more rock n roll than sitting next to an industrial scale field of lavender by myself watching a youtube video

All special guests yet to be announced (Aerosmith, or some fraction thereof, mentioned on BBC news)although Brian May and Dave Grohl looking pretty likely. I also think Jeff Lynne as he's playing in Birmingham Friday and Saturday nights so could pop by in the afternoon for a Beatles choon. Even more outside: Brian Tatler as Saxon have had to cancel dates . But each band only getting 15-20 minutes each and then a bit longer for Ozzy and Sabbath from what I've seen.
Not sure I'm that bothered about seeing it but I've been enjoying seeing Americans on facebook visiting Birmingham and asking about fanny packs, wether they will get stabbed in Aston and wondering why anyone recommended Wetherspoons to them.

Think I'm gonna buy it Sunday depending on reviews. Don't really want to spend my Saturday night waiting to see if he's utterly fucked.

I've bought a streaming ticket. Advertised price is £24.99 but the final price is actually £33.59. Initially I was a bit miffed but then remembered that I loved the Freddie Mercury and Taylor Hawkins tribute shows, and that the ticket price isn't even the cost of a night out and I get to spend the day listening to loads of heroes of mine whilst drinking beer I like with no queues for the toilet.
    And there'll be crisps.

Aye, they're making a packet off it.

There's also going to be some kind of guest-star element with all these different singers, bass players, drummers and guitarists putting in appearances.  I'm assuming that's going to be primarily on Ozzy songs rather than Sabbath ones.  The whole thing seems to be much more about Ozzy than it is about Tony, Geezer and Bill, which irks me a little.

^^ OK, so the "supergroups" play separately.  That's interesting.  And glad to see Sabbath go on last.

I mean, I like The Doors as much as anybody but why do they get a two hour set when everybody else only gets 20 mins?

Must take a while to warm some of them up.

I knew the sets were going to be short but Mastodon and Metallica could do 1 song each!

I should probably make it clear that I found that running order online earlier but no way of knowing if it's official.
Given the amount of acts involved though it seems legit time-wise.

Definitely looks reasonable, I’ve seen a shot of a bigger spreadsheet that matches

Nevermind that, why are they turning the drums off for 10 mins in the middle??

The running order's interesting.  I've no idea how they decide who's "bigger" in an era when nobody sells records any more.

Gojira after Anthrax and Tool after Pantera is sacrilege to my mind but it must be difficult
