Finally got round to watching all of it. Was very interested in the fact he has only recently started studying and practicing properly, I much prefer his playing more recently as I found him mostly fast but uninteresting before. He's also a really nice singer!

Finally had time to watch it. I love his and that style of playing. I keep trying to do it but those guys just have something I don't. 

What struck me the most, which maybe not be a relevant point to others is that he never mentioned once it was his step father who guided him all the way through .. his real rather died from an OD very early on. Proves that family is love, not blood,  and as a step father myself that moved me.

I've seen Billy Strings in Manchester on the last two tours. Superb 2.30 and 2.50 hour performances. Off the scale band virtuosity, with plenty of short bluegrass standards with very good vocal harmonies.
And at the end of both shows, he came into the remaining crowd and chatted with fans and posed for photographs.
Be nice to see him tour Europe again before too long; he's a must see performer for me, especIally at the smaller venues he plays in the UK. He's playing much larger venues in the USA now.

Strings is so good. Top dude apparently, too. The album he did with his dad is really excellent.
