Britain's Got Talent 2025

I don't normally watch the above but Mrs F was watching on re-run and I caught sight of this:

Just filled me with joy and right now, given the parlous state of our world, I feel uplifted :+1:

Young Olly doesn't know that he's cracked it ... 11 yo and he has scantily-clad, glamorous burdz fawning over him :astonished:

Fantastico!

Hard to argue he's not talented - bonus points to his guitar teacher as well!

Would be staggeringly churlish not to wish him all the best - I suspect we will see clips of this in a decade or so when he's in a huge rock revival band.
The Last Dinner Party ≈ the best thing ever...

I whipped straight to the performance. He sure went for that! I can't help thinking though that for anyone with serious aspirations a talent show like this is not the way to go. Still, good luck to the lad.

I like the fact that he has long hair at 11. Let kids be what they want. In my day no boys could get away with long hair at school. Good on the parents. Both my sons have long hair!

I put the TV on in the kitchen when washing up etc on Sunday mornings, so sometimes catch a bit of the show. I don't see much of it, it's mostly dire acts, but I did see an interesting one the other week - some gross Aussie goth who's finale was sticking a great big hook through his nose, out his mouth then hoisting himself high up on a rope with it! There were lots of complaints about that one!
