5 points : @thecolourbox ; : Bloody hell! That's absolutely superb. A strong composition with fantastic vocals, piano and arrangement. Some great subtle touches as well. That tremolo panning guitar (at least that's what I think it is) brought to mind the Twin Peaks theme. Then there were very brief moments where it had a vibe a bit like 'I Put A Spell On You'. Atmospheric and dynamic. Excellent job.

3 points : @Petepassion ; : A great result from a raw appoach and another strong composition. Great vocals and nice feel from the guitar.

    1 point : @Chuffola ; : An interesting and novel concept. A nice production/arrangment.

Sorry to leave you out @Habanero ;. Good sounds/arrangement and nice dynamics/variety. It's always difficult when there a 5 entries and hard to make choices. Strong entries this month.

Always impressed that people can write lyrics and then sing them!

We'll all be saying this but sorry to (in this case) @stratman3142 - as you note, difficult to make choices when there's only a handful of entries. The lyrics won out this time

Blimey thanks guys, that's very kind. I'm quite pleased with it, I feel like it would benefit from being a full band setting (and with somebody who can play a solo properly haha) thinking like moody John Bonham drums and some rotary organ. @stratman3142 yes there is a stereo trem effect on the guitar throughout, I forget which but it'll be in Helix Native. I'll have a look next time I put the computer on. My vibrato when playing is quite wobbly and I find that a bit of trem on it creates a nicer effect than my vibrato by itself.

Still, good job all round folks.

@thecolourbox beautiful track again mate...everytime. Do you have a link to your songs online? I'd like to share on FB, as they deserve more exposure...not that my FB will do much , but nice for others to hear all the same.

Thanks Pete that's very kind mate. I do have a Facebook page with a grand total of 7 followers  =) as i don't really have anybody interested in this side of my music really, those 7 people were what i managed when i sent out invites to all my normal Facebook page friends. It's got a bit of a hotchpotch of stuff, not very coherent, mostly things I've recorded for these challenges but there are some on there that were separate to that, the link is https://www.facebook.com/share/16CnXUMDzD/

Another enjoyable challenge, just a pity we didn't get more entries

5pts : @thecolourbox : probably your best work that I can remember, having an interesting mix of purity and distortion
3pts : @Petepassion : very angsty lyrics amplified by the simple production
    1pt : @stratman3142 : terrific playing as always

Honourable mention to @Chuffola ,with good production which gave me flashbacks to Paul Hardcastle.

Crikey, I'm very flattered by all these votes, I don't deal very well with positivity  =) maybe i need to pay somebody to mix/produce it properly haha

I'd better put my votes in as well.

5 points to @stratman3142 lovely movement and energy to your piece, i don't always find it comfortable listening to instrumentals but i liked your structure and presentation very much and your playing was deliciously clean.

3 points to @Petepassion a very promising sketch, you have a knack of pulling off good performances in your lofi demo method, a mixture of conviction in what you're singing and lovely loose but engaging playing on the guitar.

1 point to @Chuffola for a charming bonkers collage of creativity

sorry @Habanero but there's always one without points. I enjoyed your effort and liked your lyrics (though i feel you owe the Gallagher brothers a glass of champagne each for your verse tune  ;) ).

Well done everybody and thanks again for the kind comments on mine
