My luck continues - Charity shop bargain

So recently I've brought a Kramer Pacer from the nineties for £35 and an old  Boss practice amp from the eighties for £15. Then a £180 set of metal drawers for £30. This morning I was playing my nylon acoustic and wondering how I would go about turning it into an electro acoustic so I could use it live. I love to play Shadows and Beatles songs on a nylon as single pieces using my own arrangements but my nylon is a simple acoustic instrument with no electrics.

Anyway an hour later I go into a charity shop to get my granddaughter a cheap toy and there for £50 is a Brand New Cort CEC1 OP nylon electro acoustic guitar .. literally brand new ! The action is amazing and the intonation is spot on.

The old wallet was pulled out in seconds.

It's only a matter of time before I stumble on an old Klon or something at this rate :)

Cort guitars are generally quite underrated.  That's a great little guitar, and a bargain at that price.  Dual-action truss rod so you can easily put on high tension strings without any worries, shallow fretboard radius (15.75 inches) and 45mm nut for ease of playability, fairly slim body, and fairly good electrics.

I thought that the days of charity shop bargains were long gone. It's too easy for them to look up values these days!

    ... and I thought my Vintage V300M for £20 - in terrible condition - was a bargain!

" Hey honey, did you take that old acoustic to the charity shop now I've got the new Cort ? "

I got a TC Helicon Voicelive Play for a tenner in a charity shop a couple of months back. I have no real use for it but couldn't pass it up at that price.

Great score! What’s the most you’re willing to pay for a Klon? I’ll keep my eyes peeled  ;)

The big shop in the Pompey centre?
No, National heart foundation in Waterlooville mate. I pop in there all the time as I buy all my clothes and shoes in there. It wasn't there on Sat when I popped in so I must have brought it almost as soon as they got it.
