Tuning of this song?

Hi guys,

Was working out the chords for this:

I think the progression of the intro goes

| Gm | Bb | F | Gm F | Eb | Eb | F D? |

But the tuning...

I suspect it is down tuned because of the low note on the Eb. I tried it a half step lower but that didn't sound right. Tried drop D but that doesn't sound right either. The last chord is (I think) a D but my voicings don't sound right.

Can anyone with sharper ears hear the tuning on this one?

I’d tune the whole guitar down a tone, so it’s DGCFAD. 

Then your chords are all barre chords and should sound right. You could play the D as a D7 if you wanted.

The only other thing to add is that the first time round, the D chord is a D minor; the second time round, at the turnaround, it's a Dsus4 then a D (major)

I'm going to guess by ear that the guitar is tuned to D standard.
