I’ve had both Jalfrezi and I reckon 95 pct of the sounds in the Matchless are in the Bad Cat but imho there isn’t a bad sound in the matchless.

You set the bass at 10 oclock the treble at 2 oclock and adjust the volume and gain to taste . No matter what guitar you plug into it you can dial in the sound by nudging treble and bass a few degrees either way and it sounds great.

I found with the Bad Cat you had to play around with the knobs a fair bit to get the sound in your head but they were pretty much all there albeit it having slightly less whomp than the Matchless

Matchless Lightning back up for sale.
It was great in the studio last weekend with my Ricky 330, but I have an old AC30, plus something else rather nice may be on the horizon.

Well the buyer hasn’t been in touch, so temporarily dropping the price to £1400, as I’m travelling from Portsmouth to Leicester Monday evening and will be passing the location of a guitar I’m after.
   So if I have payment before Monday evening, I can buy this guitar while I’m nearby. Can also meet enroute.
   Price will go back up after Monday.
