51st Anniversary from the Smash Hits album … lots of lyrical  insight aswell as superb Jimi clean sound playing… Also the version of Red House on the original version of Hendrix in the West edition…. Blues playing doesn’t get any better than this …..

The Angel demo with clean guitar and a jauntier tempo, where he sings "Angel came down..... stayed just long enough for Afternoon tea."

Likewise just some of his studio jams with Mitch, the two of them sort of rehearsing for 30 odd minutes. Totally unforced and magical.

The Wind Cries Mary cover by Chuck Prophet is also worth seeking out imho.

I tried quite a bit with Hendrix but I was a bit after the fact. My favourite stuff was the Radio 1 album which is generally short songs, minimal overdubs , lots of energy. So, I'll go Daytripper off that.
