Early All About Eve. They used a drum machine until Mark Price got involved as a session drummer.

Radiohead do this a bunch, alongside having a real live drummer of course. This duo performance (there are two or three in the same setting on Youtube) is wonderful.

    The Kills
    The Dead Weather occasionally
    Yeah Yeah Yeahs maybe?

The XX are i think a different case, as they played drum machine sounds but i think "live", ie like when drummers use a trigger pad thing.

Edit, been listening to Sleep Token lately and it sounds like they do too

Interesting. Big Black were on my list - SAF Drumulator sounds - same drum machine as Cocteau Twins got significant mileage out of.

The Raveonettes are another that I forgot to mention.

Early stuff by Young Marble Giants. Either didn’t want to or couldn’t make it sound much like drums so it’s very drum machine.

Quite a bit of drum machine in reggae, an early one would be So Jah S’eh by Bob Marley. If you listen to Billy Jean by Shinehead that’s very drum machine.
