Original 'rare' Fretboard forum T-shirt - £200

What's Hot
axisusaxisus Frets: 31616
Yup, I've been clearing out today and I found my old grey Fretboard T-shirt that was produced here some years ago. I never wear it so I thought that I'd either flog it for £200, or alternatively give it away for free. Just let me know what your preference is.

The one caveat if you take it for free is that you have to post a thread in off topic saying 'this is me with my free t-shirt on' and include a photo of you wearing it.

Size XL. It does of course say 'founder member', so if you weren't one this is your chance to pretend to be in that exclusive club!

If no one wants it it will be consigned to the bin as the Mrs wants a proper clear out and I have a million T-shirts so some have to go.

SAVE THIS CLASSIC!

I actually was a founder member! My contributions were asking Lady BMcH what to call the place, and drawing the plectrum smileys.

However, I am not an XL, and I've spent all my toy allowance.

    £200 is ridiculous.

    Should be at least £500

I've got one from the year after. Here's my lovely dog wearing it. I still have the T-shirt, but not the dog...

I had one of each of them. The wife mistook the bag for "charity shop stuff", and...'twas no more.

Wouldn't a more recent member wearing a 'founder member' t-shirt be a clear example of a fake?

Yes, "stolen valor" as they say in America.

In which case, I could let you have a very special edition, signed by the original producer.

It's the baseball caps that are worth the real money though ...

I have a pristine cap which I will sell for £200, and a road worn version at £500 which has nicely faded to brown. “Pics to follow”

I was a regular on the MR forum, but didn't notice that tfb had sprung up for quite a while after it had started.

It seems my first activity on here was 28th March, 2014.

We should have biker style leather cuts, then we could terrorise the other UK forums.
