Fretboarders of Kettering, Streatley, Bath, Reading, London or thereabouts…

What's Hot

Fretboarders wanted! If you’re in the vicinity of any of these gigs, I would be chuffed, delighted and all sorts to see any of you there. An evening of slightly grungy Americana/indie-folk awaits. Come and say hello and chat guitars or other stuff.

Love the Old Forge, great little venue (played there a few times before Covid). Already got something in the diary on the 15th, but if it falls through I’ll be there.

Thanks @Teyeplayer, nice to hear more good things about the Old Forge. Hope your plans don’t fall apart, but if they do I’ll be delighted to see you there. :)

Gotta say, what a fantastic gig, and what extremely pleasant chaps are @camf ; and Ally/Ali playing bass.

if you find a  chance to see them, go for it.  Indie folk and Americana i've seem them described as. Sounds about right.  also excellent wordsmithing a la John Prine and Ralph McTell, although a bit more energetic more like Mr Bragg stylee.

    very very good

Haha! Of course! That was was you!!! It was lovely chatting to you but I was thinking of you being D’s friend and not linking you to SEV112. Aw man, no wonder you knew so much about guitars. :D I’m such a donut, but thank you very much for the kind words. It was a great way to end what’s been a brilliant wee tour. Next time we’ll definitely have to have a bit longer for a chat. Best of luck with everything we were chatting about.
