    I'm in again.

I feel a spreadsheet coming on

As a starter, I'll update the master list of songs and roles for previous jams, after I've had chance to updated it with details from the most recent jam.

    It's not a competition.

Im up for it - and if anyone knows a friendly drummer who fancies doing some/most/all the songs feel free to get them signed up. Have a folder of drum notation I can email over.

I will also dig out the lyrics/song structure for any tracks I already have so @Norm and any other singers can get upto speed easier. This is how I usually structure them to help when Im singing or guitaring.

Anyone fancy also adding in a heavier version of Come Together - ala Gary Clark version with some heavy blues riffing/solos

We'll need guitars tuned to C# standard to do it in that key. Or I could bring my 7 string guitar and 5 string bass.

    It's not a competition.

Thats not a problem unless you're a whammy-ist. My headstock has tuners ;)

Not sure if things might get a bit too floppy, down that low (cue for obvious joke)

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any experience of the Digitech Drop pedal (i.e. sound, latency etc) ? I've been mulling over whether to get one.

    It's not a competition.

I'm in - obvs subject to date and venue.

@stratman3142, can you please add Queen Bitch back onto the spreadsheet ? It was certainly myself, @mrkb and @Brocco last year, and reckon @Norm could do a stellar job on vox ?

Here's a link to the master list of songs we've done before and roles taken. I can't guarantee it's 100% accurate, but at least it gives us an idea of some options.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1i-xJApIC9WQ-hhB9tyGNNxsdxM5soCYSwxnBUZ82cO8/edit?usp=drive_link

I'll start a new spreadsheet shortly and add the suggestions so far.

    It's not a competition.

@Brocco could you include this link in your first post?

I've put myself down for bass on Queen Bitch because that was my role last time we did it, but I'm happy if anyone else wants the bass role.

@Brocco , you've posted the master song list, which contains songs we're done in the past and is just for reference.

I've now created a new spreadsheet for the jam, with the songs suggested so far. The link is in my post after the one with the link to the master song list.

    I'm definitely up for it!

@stratman3142  - yes, I have the drop/whammy pedal in one. Did an entire gig down a semitone and it worked perfectly, no issues with latency etc (it's better than anything built into my ax8 and other modellers I've tried as it's a dedicated unit). Unlike me, who forgot I'd left it on, tuned to concert pitch 5 minutes before playing via the pedal, and then started playing a semitone sharp. Luckily I had another guitar with me.

    Thanks.

I once tuned my B string to a C, after silent tuning and not paying attention to the note being displayed on my tuner. I was using power chords on the first song of the set so I didn't know until it came to a solo, when it sounded like a poor man's Allan Holdsworth.

I've just experimented with the Poly Capo in Helix Native which wasn't too bad. I could sense a lack of instantaneous reponse (i.e. latency), but it's possibly usable. I'll set up a patch in my Helix LT with the poly capo and see how that goes. I'm still tempted to get a separate unit for rapid on-the-fly adjustments.

    Sign me up. Thanks for taking the initiative @Brocco ;

I'd be up for doing more drums in theory, it's just the thorny issue of being able to practice. Space, the final front ear
