    Hi, apologies for the radio silence, I'm still burnt out and not able to do a lot

    We've got the Engine Room on the 7th until 5pm at the latest but we can start when we like

    Last time we had the room, the PA and drum shells, and brought everything else, and the total cost for the day was £132
    Likewise :( Really sorry for not replying sooner, but I won't be able to make this one unfortunately. Had a knackering few weeks, ending up with a week of looking after a poorly daughter and awful sleep. Finally got some antibiotics today so she should be on the mend soon - the GP surgery told us her wee sample was clear, but then called today to say actually it wasn't, and she needs medicine (so has been feeling like crap unnecessarily for a couple of days more than she should have). Hope you all have a great day  - I will look forward to the videos - and I will definitely definitely be at the next one; I hate missing out and not catching up with everyone!

    And I'll be there with a bass or two, probably around 10:30 depending on the M4 traffic.

  • Hi chaps, apologies for the late reply ! I should be with you for around 10.30 - traffic should be ok as it's Sunday.

    Btw, I've listened to Molly's Chambers a couple of times, so if we do include, I'd be happy to have a go at second guitar. That said, I will need to use an amp again, as my little Vox AV15 wouldn't have enough push.

  • Happy for anyone to use my gear (if they want to, that is!)

  • I'll bring a bass amp and at least two small, but loud, guitar amps that anyone can use.
    It's not a competition.

    @roberty now that we know there will be nine of us tomorrow we could each pay you our share - how can we best do that?  Also, given the distances that some are travelling, just double-checking that we will be able to access Firebird from 10am?

    ...and to double-check that we've got the combination to the outside loo, which is important to a man of my age

  • I loved meeting everyone again and for the first time - you boys cranking out the rhythm section and singing were bloody wonderful and such a luxury to have you :) nice one @Norm @mart and @mrkb! ;

    Fantastic time and great work with all the organisation boys.

    It’s a safe space for guitar hermits like me to have a proper bash and learn some live craft - power socket phase problems and levels today!

    I’ll post some snaps and video soon.

    Cheers all,
    Ben.

    PS Now I REALLY want a Mustang!
