Go on ... you know you want to

Just seen this little clip for the first time and it made me not only smile but sit up and take notice.

I think it's fantastic ... I just want to pick up a guitar and do this.

He makes it look simple eh? I just know that to get to that level of control, fluidity, coordination, confidence, etc., etc., has taken a lot of work.

Anyway, does anyone on tFB actually play stuff like this? Quirky stuff that entertains and holds an audience?

Any other favourite clips to watch ... I love this stuff.

I think that quirky stuff is quite fun as a party piece - not that I go to parties. I used to be able to play the snooker theme - I think it's actually called Drag racer?? That always goes down well. I hasten to add that I don't play it anywhere near as good as the actual thing, that guy was a pretty good guitarist!

Just one of the many comical renditions and original songs from Chris "Isto" White, who is a music teacher and a very accomplished player

Roy Clark was highly regarded guitarist in 60's and 70's.
Heard of the 'logs falling over' effect on a Resonator which the blues guys did in 1920's, Bob Brozman talks about in one of his tutorial slide books, but I've never heard of that train effect, I think that's great and not easy to do. I'll give that ago later

He played with most of the great players of the era and is regarded as one himself. He may have had his own tv show too,in North America?
