Rory's a strange one for me. He ticks all my boxes on paper, but I've just never managed to get into his music for some reason. I shall put a Youtube live concert on today in memory of him and see if I can 'find' anything there for me.

I was just a lad when he passed so I never got to see him play. I know people who saw him 15-20 times as he toured so often (two of them still wear checked shirts all the time).  A massive influence on me as a player - when I return to listening to him after a break I spot something else of his I've subconsciously lifted. Irish Tour ftw.
