I'm casting about for something higher end, mainly for home but might get used outside, so 10 to 20w approx. Not too heavy. Good attenuator is a big factor for me. Plus needs to be easy on the eye! Maybe Carr, not sure. Not lazy J as just sold one of those. A bit vague, I know but there you go.

I've been watching that for a while.  I really like what I hear from the earlier 8W Mercury.  Am I right in thinking you had one of the 12" ones at one time Con?

I’ve had about 4 Paul and alongside my old Lightning they are my most favouritest amp.  The earlier Mercury is more plexi / tweedy / woofy than the V which to my ears is all shades of Marshall. Lovely warm cleans and gorgeous reverb too

I have a 633 Dragonfly RT that I'm considering selling if that's of any interest. It's only rated at 5W I think but is pretty bloody loud compared to my champ clone, so possibly loud enough for the odd gig?

I am considering selling my 22w RD Amplification Dualist head which has a matching 1x12 loaded with Celestion Alnico Blue. All very light (head can be picked up with two or three fingers, compact and amazing if Dumble style are your thing? - PM me if interested and I'll fire you some photos (all in perfect condition)

Great choice.  I have a Dragonfly RT and a Grooveking.  Both fantastic.  Which did you go for ?
