Well it seems that us guys know nothing about guitars as according to eBay there is nothing wrong with the listing.
Totally laughable and just sums up how bad eBay is.

I reported some obvious listings of genuine tortoiseshell picks (endangered hawksbill turtle), sold from and to countries where trade in the material is illegal. EBay simply do not act, and some of the sellers have been active for over a decade, selling just one product.

I can't imagine anybody being fooled by it but how on earth can eBay not spot it as a scam. The reply I got back says the decision to reject my report was made by a customer service agent so we can't even blame their AI system.

I reported it on the basis that the title didn’t match the photos. Not expecting anything as always, but it was removed within ten minutes.

edit: “This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence.” So they didn’t “look into it” as they claimed. The AI might as well be a random number generator.

Judging by that price, title and photos it could've been some scammers AI that posted it in the first place. Then eBays AI removed it.

I have reported it twice for the same reason as you - both times received this reply.

We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy.  This determination was made by a customer service agent.
