I love this guy's robotic dancing

Maykon. I keep coming across these little video's of his dancing, and I find them very hypnotic. I just have to keep watching to the end when I find one. He really is quite amazing at this stuff, and I think his somewhat nerdy look and smile help the overall vibe of the performance. I realise the it won't be everyone's thing, many here will NOT be fans!

His clips keep coming up on my facebook feed, and yes he’s amazingly good at what he does but I found it gets a wee bit repetitive after a while. Like you say, his slightly goofy expression only helps to make him look even more non-human.

Turns out that's actually a robot, so not that impressive.

It's fascinating to see someone moving in such an unnatural way, it's somehow smooth and jerky at the same time.  He must practice for hours on end.  I'm constantly watching to see if he ever slips into "normal human movement" mode for even a fraction of a second.

Be interesting to see the raw videos without the digital enhancement.  The first one particularly does look quite affected.

I guess the use of technology is all part of the show.

I heard my body popping (loudly) this morning as I hauled myself out of bed.  I did a fair amount of DIY yesterday that involved stretching, bending and kneeling, and I'm not as flexible and fit as I used to be 

Some people with whole body Tourette syndrome are almost as good as these dancers without needing to practice.

Yeah, the two David Elsewhere vids are cool. That one above with the orange top on, I remember being wowed by that back in the very early days of online video.

Well, that was posted 3 years ago so maybe he's put a lot of work in since then! To be honest it's a tad disappointing if the newer videos are greatly 'AI enhanced'. They still look crazy but they would have lost something.
