Every time I see that black paperback book with the black Strat and red "The Guitar Book - New Edition" (by Tom Wheeler) it takes me right back to 1981 or 1982 when I had one of the large bookstores in Glasgow city centre order it for me.  I recall that it was quite pricey for my meagre pay at the time.  I read it from cover to cover umpteen times over several years until I put it in a box with other books.  Every time I've had a clear out I haven't been ruthless enough to get rid of it because it holds so many memories from that era of my life and I've read through it again.  I'm having a clear out right at the moment and I paged through the book only yesterday.  It went back into the "keep" box again.
